What You Will Experience During Your Visit

Our goal in providing evening and weekend hours is to give your pet expanded access to comprehensive wellness care and affordable emergency services.

Call us to see if your pet needs to be seen today: 716-949-0161

What does urgent care mean?

Similar to human urgent care clinics, our goal is to offer convenient, efficient, and high-quality medicine.  We provide compassionate emergency care to pets who suddenly develop symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting, or a painful infection. The difference between our facility and human urgent care centers is that we offer advanced onsite laboratory, diagnostic, and surgical services.  Pre-register IS required before arrival. Please call ahead for same day or next day appointments to ensure your pet will be evaluated in a timely manor and you will be given a treatment plan.

What to expect when you call.

Our team will advise you of our availability to schedule your pet for a veterinary evaluation and treatment plan. Our weekend and evening appointments ensure that your pet’s needs – no matter how large or small – can be addressed.  If you pet breaks a leg or you forget to update your pet’s vaccines for boarding and need that done ASAP, we are here to help.

What to expect when you arrive.

Please text 716-949-0161 when you arrive, and our staff will prepare a room for you or our ICU if your pet needs to be directly admitted. We will gather a history and a staff member will help you into the facility to obtain vitals and collect samples for the doctor’s triage. Please know wait times will vary. Priority is given to critical patients and euthanasia. We do value your time and patience and are working very hard to keep your wait time as minimal as possible.

What are urgent veterinary care triage levels?

We require an appointment to give you our best attempt to shorten your wait time.  Please be aware that we triage upon arrival.
